Obituary for David Joseph Koch

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, David Joseph Koch, 68, husband, father, brother, and loving friend to many, passed away after an incredible fight for many months. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife and best friend of 29 years, Susan, their daughter Laura, and by his brother Gary (Lydia). Dave is also survived by his many nieces and nephews as well as his sister-in-laws Joan (dec. Bill), Ellen (Jack), and his brother-in-law Dan (Megan). He is pre-deceased by his father Elmer and mother Helen and in-laws Eugene and Ruth Daly.

Dave was born in 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Parma, OH and served in the Air Force. After serving his country in South Korea he attended The University of Akron. He moved to Wisconsin in 1983 and worked for Allen Bradley Rockwell for many years. Dave finished his working years at Generac before entering into retirement. Dave and Sue spent the last three years in retirement bliss. He was an incredibly talented woodworker and loved to work on his 1966 corvette. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending his days fixing up old HAM radios (KX9DK).

We would like to thank Dave’s many dedicated doctors and nurses at Prohealth Cancer Center, Froedtert Hospital’s Cancer Center, Center for Advanced Care, and the MICU. His medical team never gave up on him, especially Dr. Hari, and we are eternally grateful.
