Dolores M. Jacoby (nee Ardelt), of Waukesha, passed away with her family by her side at AngelsGrace Hospice on Monday, November, 13, 2017, at the age of 91 years. Dolores was born on April 23, 1926, the daughter of Erwin and Leone Ardelt. In 1944, Dolores graduated from Waukesha High School where she was Prom Queen during her junior year and made many lifelong friends. She married the love of her life, Richard Jacoby on October 11, 1947 and worked as a secretary for his business RJ Pattern Works. Dolores was a lifelong member at E&R Church in Waukesha. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the north woods cabin in Conover, WI. Dolores participated in many activities including bridge club, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, tennis, square dancing, swimming, exercise classes and attended Wisconsin and Packer games with friends. Most of all, Dolores was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she loved taking care of her family.

Dolores will be deeply missed by her children, Ron (Cyndy) Jacoby, Diane (Tony) Spadanuda, Bruce (Jenny) Jacoby, and Jill (Mark) Schaefer; 14 grandchildren, Troy (Jaime), Stacy (David), Reid (Angela), Chris (Melissa), Mark, Ryan, Bruce II (Jeannette), Joshua (Gena), Jonathan (Loren), Clasen (Misty), Robert (Keleny), Rachel, Matt, and Natalie; 23 great-grandchildren, William, Richard, Ella, Emma, Abigael, Logan, Nico, Corey, Lucas, Bruce III, Ethan, Lillian, Charlotte, Victoria, Lucas, Brinley, Porter, Josie, Jeremiah, Alex, Alona, Maxwell, and Jarom; sister, Lois Hackbarth; niece, Nancy (David Wiseblood) Klokner; and sister-in-law, Ruth Whyte. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard.

The visitation for Dolores will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the E&R Building Fund, 413 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186; Wisconsin Parkinson’s Association, 2819 W Highland Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53208; or to AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants’ Way, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
