Lucille Hazel "Dauffie"  Dauffenbach
Lucille H. Dauffenbach, lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2017, at the age of 98 years. She was the daughter of Karl M. and Hazel L. (nee Leistiko) Dahms. Lucille married Douglas W. Dauffenbach on June 28, 1941. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Catholic Study Club. Lucille graduated from Waukesha High School and St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse, employed at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for over 35 years. Lucille was a board member of Friends of Retzer Nature Center and volunteered at the GMO and the Waukesha County Historical Society. She was also a world traveler, avid golfer & bowler and a dedicated family historian. Most of all, Lucille loved spending time with her family.

Lucille will be sadly missed by her children, Kathy Lundy of Waukesha, Bradley (Debbie) Dauffenbach of Eagle, Mary (Tom) Cairns of Brookfield and daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Maher of Weston, WI; grandchildren, Beth (Steve) Kilday, Brian Dauffenbach, Shane Carlton, Eric (Emily) Carlton, Ryan (Lori) Lundy, Reade Lundy, Ross Lundy, Randy Lundy, Megan(James) David, Katelyn (Samuel) Jimenez, Kevin Dauffenbach, Kate (Shawn) Spears and Jessica, Emma and Julia Cairns; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Orion, Aidan, Logan, Bailey, Justin, Ilya, Sawyer, Ariana, Alexandra, Sophia and Charlie. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas W.; daughter, Susan Carlton; son, Doug Jr. and her siblings, Charles, Ruth, Glen and Joanne.

A visitation for Lucille will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Inurnment will take place immediately following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorials in Lucille’s name to the Friends of Retzer, S14 W28167 Madison Street or Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation, at foundation@phci.org, would be appreciated.
