Obituary for Tina Ellifson

Tina Ellfison, of Waukesha, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 86. Tina was born in Osseo, Wisconsin on June 13, 1930, the daughter of Tracy and Loretta Gunderson. She married Cliff Ellifson on February 2, 1952. Tina was a long time resident of Waukesha, a 55 year member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and was a member of the altar guild.

Tina will be missed by her children, Ronald (Joel’) Ellifson, Michael (Jennifer Karlsson) Ellifson, and Denise (Larry) Jones; grandchildren, Samantha (Mike Pollich) Jones, Seth Jones, Shawn Jones, Blair Karlsson-Ellifson and Grant Karlsson-Ellifson; and great-grandson, Lucas Pollich. She is further survived by her siblings, Andrew Gunderson, Rosemary Neprud, and Robert (Mary) Gunderson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Tina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cliff; and granddaughter, Lea Karlsson-Ellifson; sisters, Janice Aldrich and Joan Pride.

The visitation for Tina will be on Sunday, January, 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. There will be a second visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. D. Andrew Fetters will officiate the service. The entombment will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church, see address above.
